This policy explains what personal information Bitrora LLC (“Bitrora”, “we”, “us”) collects through bitrora.com, why, and the choices you have. We keep it short because we collect very little.
Who we are
Bitrora LLC is a development, consulting, marketing and startup services company operating from the United States and South Africa. We are responsible for the personal information described here. For anything privacy-related, including reaching our Information Officer, email hello@bitrora.com.
What we collect
When you contact us. If you send a brief through our form or email us, we receive your name, email address, and anything else you choose to share: company or website, the services you’re interested in, budget range and your message.
When you browse. Our hosting provider automatically records standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested and timestamps) to keep the site secure and running.
Analytics, only if you agree. With your consent, Google Analytics records how the site is used: pages viewed, approximate location (country or city), device and browser type, the site that referred you and interactions such as submitting the contact form. Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses. If you decline, no analytics scripts are loaded.
We do not run advertising, sell personal information or use it for profiling.

Who we share it with
We only share personal information with service providers who help us run the site and our business, under contracts that require them to protect it:
- Xneelo (South Africa): hosts this website and processes contact form submissions.
- Our email provider: delivers and stores the briefs you send to hello@bitrora.com.
- Google LLC: provides Google Analytics, only when you have consented.
We may also disclose information if required by law. Because we work across countries, your information may be processed in South Africa, the United States or the European Union. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries: up to 24 months after our last contact, unless you become a client, in which case for the length of the engagement plus any period the law requires.
- Analytics data: up to 14 months, then deleted automatically by Google.
- Server logs: kept by our host for a limited period for security purposes.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, including South Africa (POPIA), the EU and UK (GDPR) and US states such as California, you can ask us to:
- confirm what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy
- correct or update it
- delete it
- stop or restrict certain processing, or object to it
- withdraw your consent to analytics at any time
Email hello@bitrora.com and we’ll respond within 30 days. We won’t treat you differently for exercising your rights. We honour Global Privacy Control signals as a decline of analytics.
If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, you can complain to a regulator. In South Africa that is the Information Regulator; in the EU or UK, your local data protection authority.
Cookies
We use as few cookies as possible, and none for advertising. Analytics cookies are only set after you click Accept in our cookie banner.

Security
The site is served over HTTPS, the contact form is protected against spam and abuse, and access to enquiries is limited to the people who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Children
This website is not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Links to other websites, such as our social profiles, are covered by those sites’ own privacy policies.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal information, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
